Bernard J. Roswig established the firm after serving as National Director of Public and Media Relations for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington D.C. Prior to his government post, Roswig was Manager of News Information for CBS Television in New York, responsible for such acclaimed programs as 60 MINUTES, THE CBS EVENING NEWS and CBS REPORTS. Earlier, he directed publicity for THE MERV GRIFFIN SHOW and the JACKIE GLEASON SHOW. He has also been a journalist for United Press International, Washington Star and Syracuse (N.Y.) Herald Journal, was a press officer for the United Nations, and worked extensively in broadcast journalism.

Chris K. Northrup, principal of BJR Public Relations, supervises account activities for corporate, product, professional service clients and nonprofits. Northrup joined the firm after serving as Director of Public Relations for William L. Pereira Assoc., the international architectural firm. Her professional experience includes directing electronic and print programs for the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Postal Service and Federal Home Loan Bank Board. She has been a broadcast reporter, news and promotional writer, film editor, director and documentary producer, and also served on the journalism faculty at California State University, Long Beach.
